Nowhere Special Orphan Blender Blend Of Straight Whiskeys

Nowhere Special Orphan Blender Blend of Straight Whiskeys is a collaborative project with Mushroom Spirits Distillery. We sourced a 2 year New York Straight Bourbon and a 3 year New York Straight Rye Whiskey and blended them 51%/49%. Some would call this blend a “BourRye” which blends some of the younger notes from the bourbon with some spicy and more mellow notes from the rye. 45% alc/vol 90 proof.

Color - Dark mahogany, cherry wood, clear

Aroma - Dark cherry notes, cherry cola, oak, vanilla, slight mint, baking spices

Taste - Cherry, oak, vanilla, caramel, cola, baking spices

Finish - Cherry, oak, slow mellow lingering caramel & rye spices

Overview - Complex yet balanced blend with big cherry and oak overtones with a mellow dry finish
